We would like to inform you that the submission deadline for research articles and multimedia/multimodal papers for the first issue of Anthropologies / Anthropologies, the academic journal of the Association of Social Anthropologists Greece (SKAE), has been extended to May 15, 2026.
Ανθρωπολογίες/Anthropologies is an open-access journal published annually, featuring original scholarly work in Greek and English. The journal employs a double-anonymous peer review process and aims to foster dialogue across diverse theoretical and methodological approaches, while also facilitating encounters between anthropologists and wider publics.
The journal welcomes contributions in the following categories:
Research Articles (6-8,000 words)
Translations of previously published articles in languages other than Greek
Multimedia/Multimodal Papers (up to 4,000 words):
Essays (up to 3,000 words) and Commentaries (up to 1,500 words)
Interviews (up to 3,000 words)
Reviews (up to 2,000 words)

The deadline for research articles and multimedia/multimodal submissions for the inaugural issue is May 15, 2026. Submissions in all other categories will be accepted until August 31, 2026.
