The blog of the SKAE aspires to be the model of an electronic scientific journal on Social and Cultural Anthropology, but also more generally on social thought and research in Greece.

Our thought is to be coordinated by an editorial committee of members of the Association in which at least one member of the Board of Directors will participate. The editorial board will be staffed by members of the Association and its composition will change at regular intervals. The committee will be set up following an open call to our members and will also be announced on the website.

The blog posts will relate to topics of current events with anthropological interest, but also to the experiences, thoughts and tributes of colleagues working in various professional fields, as well as to specials or thematic modules related to anthropological theory and research practice. The posts will be proposed by the members of the Association and will be designed and edited by the editorial board.

Posts may take the form of notes, conference announcements, completed articles and/or extracts/summaries of research data, as well as photographic or multi-material articles.

We hope that the blog will be a means of broadening and deepening anthropological reflection, as well as scientific dialogue in the field of social research in Greece.
